Getting the Most From Your Stripology Ruler Class

Do you have a Stripology Ruler and only use it to cut strips, or don't use it at all because you're unsure how? You will love this basic class that starts you with how to fold your fabric all the way to Flying Geese. These rulers are really great timesavers and make all your cutting and squaring up a breeze – this class will help you get the most out of them! Sewing machine required.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Stripology XL Quilt Ruler required and Stripology Mini Quilt Ruler highly recommended. Feel free to bring any of the Stripology rulers you have to class.

2. Master Your Stripology® Rulers Book

3. 2-3 fat quarters and a Charm pack or fabric to cut some 5" squares for practice cutting. If you have a binding that needs cut, bring that too!

4. Rotary cutting mat (the Creative Grids cutting mats are designed by Gudra Erla and the second side is designed to use with the Creative Grids® Stripology® series of rulers. This side has 1in vertical lines, 1/2in horizontal lines, and 45-degree diagonal lines. Line up the fabric and rulers on the spaced horizontal 1/2in grid lines. No other distracting markings are needed)

5. 45MM rotary cutter recommended but you can use a 60MM cutter. Olfa cutters are the safest and easiest to use. Please make sure you have a fresh blade in your cutter!

6. Notions – Clips (check out the new Geasy Clips in standard and large sizes), Geasy Ruler Stickers, frixion pen, scissors, seam ripper
