Quilted Jacket using Easy Piecing Grid

Want to make a quilted jacket but don't know where to start? This class is what you've been waiting for! Week 1 will cover picking a pattern, how do you want to piece it and fitting. Any basic jacket pattern will work but the Tamarack jacket pattern has simple pieces and construction for beginners. Week 2 we will learn how to use the Easy Piecing grid for construction of our jacket panels. Week 3 and Week 4 will cover jacket construction and lots more tips and tricks! The great thing about this class is the jacket will fit and the pieced construction will be what you want whether it's stars, log cabin block or just a grid patchwork.

Skill Level: Beginner — Need to have basic sewing machine knowledge

Requirements

Class supply list will be sent approx. 3 weeks before class. Sewing machine is required.

Cindy has been teaching classes at Quilter’s Cupboard for 18 years and enjoys sharing her tips and tricks. Her teaching style is casual and she just wants her students to have fun and learn new skills. No quilt police here!
