July starts our next 6 month session of Civil War Club. We will be featuring quilts from Clothesline Quilt’s Civil War Battle Series.  Each quilt in this series represents a major battle of the American Civil War from 1861 through 1865.  (Pictured is Shiloh)  Patterns include directions and measurements for 5" and 10" block sizes, so you can sew a small wall/lap size or a large bed size quilt by simply changing the size of the block. Also included in every pattern is a short historical note about the battle and a fictional letter from the battlefield - a fun way to learn a little more about our country's history and the hardships of war.
